First aid course

The course can be held at the driving school or at a health centre with licensed instructor-examiners. It can run over one or more days, with the exam on the following day.

The exam

• Theory: 20 questions, 45 minutes, pass mark 65 out of 100.
• Practice: the candidate draws one question and demonstrates the skills learned; pass mark is also 65 out of 100.

Those who pass receive a first aid certificate, which is attached to the driving test paperwork.
